1st day: Rome
your driver will pick up at the airport and take you to your hotel. Overnight.
2nd day: Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence
Breakfast. Departure at 7:15 am from your hotel. Your driver and your guide will pick you up for the journey to Assisi . Guided tour of the historic center and the basilica of San Francesco, free time for lunch (not included). After lunch , at h. 13,30 boarding on the Minivan to Siena. Guided tour of Siena. At h 18.30 departure for Florence, where you will check in at the hotel. Free dinner and overnight.
3rd day: Florence
Breakfast, meeting with your guide and half a day visit of Florence by foot. Lunch in a typical Tuscan restaurant. Free afternoon or short trip to Pisa by train (optional), Siena was one of the four main historical Maritime Republics of Italy, with a visit to Piazza dei Miracoli with the Cathedral, the icon of Pisa "the Leaning Tower of Pisa" and the Baptistery. Free dinner, overnight in Florence.
4th day: Florence - Bologna - Padua - Venice
Breakfast and departure for Bologna at h 8 a.m. Your driver and your guide will pick you up at the hotel. City tour from Piazza Malpighi, walk to Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore, then Palazzo Re Renzo; Palazzo Podestà and the basilica of San Petronio. Free lunch . At h 2pm departure for Padua . Guided tour of the Basilica of Sant'Antonio and the historic center by foot. At about 7 pm departure for Venice. Check-in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
5th day: Venice
Breakfast, than meeting with the guide and enjoy the private transfer by water taxi to St. Mark's Square, from here you will take the guided walking tour to visit the most evocative places of " Venice the Floating City" ": Palazzo dei Dogi, icon of the glorious past Venice, the legendary "Bridge of Sighs". Free lunch. In the afternoon with "Skip the Line" tickets you will visit the splendid Basilica of San Marco and then spend the afternoon wandering the canals of Venice at your leisure. in hotel and overnight.
Day 6: Venice - Montepulciano (Tuscany wine region) - Rome
Breakfast, at about 8.00 am departure from Piazzale Roma towards Tuscany. Proceed in Val di Chiana with a stop in Montepulciano, meeting with the guide for a small taste of the medieval city rich in history and art. Lunch in a typical restaurant included. In the afternoon you will continue with your guide for a walking tour to discover Montepulciano. At the end free time for shopping. Departure for Rome at 5 pm. In the evening, you will arrive in Rome for check-in at your hotel. Free dinner.
7th day: Rome
Breakfast. Departure from your hotel with your guide for the private tour of the Vatican Museums , the Papal Room' s of Raffaello and the Sistine Chapel . Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the day to free visit of the city . We suggest the gorgeus walk along Via dei Fori Imperiali, being able to admire over 2,000 years of history and architecture.
The itinerary will take you to discover churches and monuments of great historical and architectural interest (the most important: Altare della Patria, Basilica of Santa Maria in Ara Coeli, Campidoglio, Capitoline Museums), until you reach the famous Mouth of Truth which is located in the portico of the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin. It is highly recommended to also visit the interior of the church as it is really very interesting. Overnight. .
8th day: Rome
Breakfast, transfer to the airport or possible extension of stay in Rome or Italy
